Nomenclature crisis

Okay, days after we went from "Mushroom" to "Muffin," another name has arisen which appeals to both of us and fits in with our previous naming scheme.

Right now, if we get the DNA test back and the new addition is male, he is Muffin. If she's female, she is Cowbell.

The only problem is -- we gotta have more cowbell.

Oh, God

"Fantastic Four" -- the TV series.

Given the long history of the franchise, Arad said the new "Fantastic Four" series would aim for an all-ages audience a la "The Simpsons," with humor that works for adults who remember the original comics as well as kids who will be introduced to the characters next summer.

Oh, this is going to hurt and hurt bad.

Antefilms has two animated properties now airing in the United States on Cartoon Network, "Code Lyoko" and "Funky Cops."

*whimper* I have no vested interest in this, I never really liked the FF, but this is still excruciating. And it feels like it should undo all the progress comic-to-screen adaptations have made.

A-men

I don't agree 100% with Invinciblegirl, but she does hit my high notes, makes a lot of points I hadn't even thought of lately. Though, like her and (I think) everyone with a pulse, I'm really getting politicked-out. It's only enjoyable when it's funny anymore, and not even darkly-funny. Those moments just aren't as amusing to me, for some reason.
