The Chefs and the Bolts are being coached with exactly the same mindset -- play away from your strengths. It's just that KC's strengths are Tony Gonzales and Dustin Colquitt. I guess they're playing toward Colquitt's strength, so they're actually ahead of San Diego. The Chargers have moar weapons, but damned if Norv knows how to use them. Or a clipboard. Man's in serious need of a restraining order.

I didn't watch much of MNF -- Kornheiser, for God's sake, and have they finally stopped having guests in the booth? -- but I did see Gramatica lining up for the 53-yarder and loudly proclaimed that it would be an exercise in futility given his recent gaks. And then he drills it straight on through and nobody's more stunned than I am. Huh.

The Saints should be doing much better than they are right now -- they're the anti-Broncos, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. They're in my top five sentimental picks at the moment.
