And here I was afraid all of my contributions to society were outdated or hypothetical. I mean, aside from the obvious "exhales carbon dioxide, which is needed by plants to survive" bit. No, I forgot, thanks to the tutelage of my brother, I did develop one skill which has served me well and which will surely create a new golden age for mankind.

I am still very good at pinball.

So I never played "Attack from Mars" before. Replay on second game. Hadn't played "Bride of Pin-Bot" in at least a decade. Billion points, first game. Took me two games to get into the swing of things with "Starship Troopers," but now I'm on the plus side in games bought/games given away. Got "Star Trek: The Next Generation" to whimper like a beat puppy. "Medieval Madness" has been and ever shall be mine. "Demolition Man" is music to my ears. And let's not forget the heavenly delight what is "Monday Night Football." That game will ever hold a sweet, sweet spot in my twisted little heart.

I realize this probably means nothing to you. Doesn't have to. Means a lot to me, though, and right now, that's enough.

...Have you ever been awake to the point of being beyond awake, almost like you were aware of everything in the cosmos, and yet physically you were absolutely exhausted? Think "God on the seventh day" -- okay, sure, omniscient, see everything, feel everything, yeah, but I've spent six days whipping up the universe and I'm gonna nap. That's how I feel. All I need to do is stay awake for another 11.5 hours, get home, get in the door, fall asleep and hope Moosie doesn't chew my ear off. Literally. Got a taste for cartilage, that one does. Bite bite bite.
