Uhm, yeah. That was...er, something else.
So no big surprises in store -- the most surprising things were the things that didn't actually happen. No follow-up on the Deathstroke/GA confrontation, which I was expecting at least a hint of. Calculator's crew is still out there, depressingly. And the epilogue came off more than a little disturbing than sentimental, at least, to me.
There were a few nice moments -- Ollie and Wally were pretty good. And...uhm. Yeah. That's about it, really.
There's definitely a pallor over the DCU now -- if it bleeds into other titles, its depth, how its inhabitants react all remain to be seen (no, I read no industry news -- can you tell?), but there's a bit less gleam on the Silver Age now. And while it's modern and hip and current and edgy and all sorts of other buzzwords, I'm not sure it works for me.
