One. Last. Time.

LOTR animated .gif, special edition. Touching on my one gripe about the whole movie trilogy. And featuring snarky!Gandalf, which is always a treat.

But I do like to see Boromir all worked up about the catapults.

I've never seen any of the movies, nor do I know anything about them other than apparently my ex has been called "Frodo on steroids," but that .gif was fucking hilarious.

Seems to be my week for "Yeah, but this one's better" followups here. The .gif's good, but the joke/solution (well, other than the catapult) was done a while back in Dork Tower. I recommend the Dork Tower LOTR special, which also includes bits about just what Gandalf is actually good for, based on the actual magic he performs in the books rather than what he implies he can do.
