"Firefly" flies again

Variety says the "Firefly" movie -- called "Serenity" -- has been greenlit and is aiming for a 2005 release. Joss to write and direct. Will be set six months after the events of the series. Original cast aboard.

Which still doesn't make me feel better about "Angel," but whatever.

I posted about this in my journal, but yay! So excited. And I was even watching my DVDs (for God knows what time) the last couple days.

And look at the bright side. Angel's cancellation means it can't go the way of season seven of Buffy.
