And it was raining. ...Downpours, actually, flood warnings. But it's nice out. I enjoy days when you can't tell where the sun is in the sky and it's all just an ambient gray. So today made me quite happy. Well, either that or the new meds. This morning I noticed the tip of my tongue felt funny, so I spent about five minutes grabbing it. I like my job sometimes.
Sometimes I'm worried that I'm losing my mind. The rest of the time I still think it's happening, but I just don't worry about it.
Here's a wild idea. If you're subscribed to an automated newsletter, would it be too much to ask that you turn off the "out of office" function on your e-mail system? After the third week, it gets old.
Been setting up an e-commerce site for my sister's homemade crafts. I think it's finally at the state where I can get it ready for launch. Tax is computed correctly, so's shipping. About the only thing I can't configure is that she wants the price per item to be dependent on the quantity (1-4 costs X, 5-8 costs Y, etc), but I'll figure a way around it. And, if I play my cards right, I might be able to talk her out of my other sister's old computer, which I can install MythTV on. Sweet.
Boss went home with headache. Quasiboss and überboss in meetings. Instead of shopping for a new watch, I shall stay here and...man the phones. 'Cause I'm dedicated.
And Lore, man behind The Book of Ratings and Lore Brand Comics, is also contributing to Little Fluffy Industries. If you can't find something to amuse yourself in those three links, I simply can't help you.
