Black Friday

If you're a bound and determined capitalist and want to find the best deals on Friday, make sure you consult Black Friday 2005. I wasn't even considering it until I saw some of Staples' deals. Free shredder? Fifty blank DVDs for $3? Hrm....

Ugh, the scary part of Black Friday for me is that I live walking distance from a Staples, a Target, a Circuit City, and most terrifying of all... a Wal-Mart.

The current plan is to deadbolt all the doors and sit in the living room all day with a crossbow in my lap.

Ooooh... DVD Recorder cheap from Walmart... *drools* If I stay up all night I could make it in at 5 am...

Think I'll do what I've done each of the five-odd years.

Stay home and sane. :)

I'm the MOST patient shopper in history. Seriously. It's almost comical, my wife thinks I'm zen or something when I shop.

Last time I went out on a Black Friday I nearly killed everyone Columbine style. Ugh.

I vaguely wish we had Black Friday in Canada. Not entirely, because there's a lot of baggage that comes along with Black Friday. But vaguely.
