Self-fulfilling journalism

Some intersections in Kansas are more dangerous than others -- one, in particular, near Maize, has seen more than its share of accidents lately, and Wichita's channel 12, KWCH, decided to do a live report from the intersection to illustrate the point. Which never made much sense to me. I mean, what're the odds that there'll actually be an accident while you're on camera, or even while out there?

Well, shut mah mouth. Raw video here. Favorite part: when they update the graphic at the bottom of the screen to read "Breaking news".

The interesting part of that video is you can see where the driver made the mistake and caused the crash. When that van passes in front of the car the van blocks the car from seeing the truck coming. All I can say is that they need to do something about that intersection.
