Okay, yet another horseman of the apocalypse comes striding forward: I actually have respect for Jenny McCarthy now. Obviously I've been hitting the Benadryl too hard....

Nah, just the warm fuzzy core that hides under the bad hair. None of us would wish that situation on any child. And she's doing an amazing job coping with it. I read the People article. It was heartbreaking, and still amazing.

Actually had some respect for her earlier. I recall an article she did/participated in back during the peak of her fame showing just all the things that were done to her, makeup and otherwise, to get her to look like she looked in public pictures with a side order of how girls shouldn't compare themselves to such processed looks.

Oddly enough, I don't think I ever disrespected her, but this article has pushed her over the edge as one of my fave celebrities.

After I read this, I found a newfound respect for Jim Carrey, too.

Yeah, her book's been out about two weeks now. Gotta love her as a mom.

I've always kinda liked Jenny McCarthy. She seems pretty bright, but was having so much fun being a Bunny why do anything else? Which would probably have been my attitude were I in the same place.

And it seems she's a good mom, too.
