Newspaper mad-libs

This is not a randomly-generated news story. But yes, I am going to dissect it for just such a purpose.

Is it possible that a former Brigham Young University co-ed and Miss Wyoming beauty queen charged in the 1970s with kidnapping and raping a Mormon missionary in England has resurfaced as the woman who made news this week for paying a Korean lab to clone puppies from her deceased dog's DNA?

As it turns out? Yes. Kudos to the Obscure Store.

It's not even just the realization that there are hundreds of animals needing adoption across the country euthanized each day, but also she seems to think that a genetic duplicate of her dog will somehow inherit its upbringings and learned behavior....

And I guess the Brits aren't chomping at the bit to prosecute her, either. Hrm. Troublesome. (Insert obligatory ruminations on the disparity of the reactions if the genders were reversed.)

I, too, was struck by how easily she kept getting off. In the story she claims she couldn't rape a 300-pound man--but note that she had a guy-friend helping her. In the comments is someone saying they don't think a man can get an erection during coerced sex--actually, yes, he totally can.
