Eyeball-sunglasses-man creeps me the hell out. He looks way too much like the Corinthian. Especially with that smile.

Love the bird with the flower hat. :D

Much fun here.

That one with the mama & papa chicken with the rows of baby chickens reminds me of those "Your vagina isn't a clown car" photos of the Duggars...

Hooray for Doctor Tinycat!

I'm wearing that 11 Doctors shirt RIGHT NOW.

And you're showing that Batman snow sculpture to mock me, aren't you? ;)

Maybe it's better you didn't get to see him. The raw icy awesomeness might've exploded you.

Besides, a jpeg is worth a thousand words. Well, fewer, being lossy and all, but in the neighborhood.

Cockatoos

That picture of teh girl with the cockatoos was taken on Hamilton Island, Queensland. I've been there and have very similar picture.

Am I supposed to recognize the guy flipping the bird in the first picture?

Love the bird shots this time. I may steal a couple for icons.

That'd be Roy Williams, college basketball coach of some renown, but certainly not a household face. Or finger. He coached a few miles down the road from here. But since he was never *my* basketball coach, I'll refrain from describing him except that to say he's a...polarizing figure.

And some of these pics are just begging for iconnage, aren't they? Love to see what you come up with.

[identity profile] teal-cuttlefish.livejournal.com 2011-03-14 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, and I don't speak sports. He just looked recognizable, I guess. Did the finger get him thrown out? Or are gestures allowed?

I don't follow UNC, even for schadenfreude, but (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, [livejournal.com profile] querldox or anyone in the 'hood) it doesn't look like it -- I don't find any reference to it. He's sufficient a caliber of a coach that the rules are a little bit different for him, but not that much, I'd think; they must've just missed it. And, you know, be unable to discern replays. *shrug*

Given the manner of his departure from the school down the road, though, I just thought it was...indicative.

And that last sentence was pure ...er... Greek to me! Thanks for explaining.

[identity profile] daethkow.livejournal.com 2011-03-16 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
It looks like he's in the middle of throwing up a couple more fingers on that hand, perhaps to call "set #3" or some other such arcana.

Although, given past history between the NCAA and UNC, I'm pretty sure Roy could pull out a .38 and shoot the opposing point guard live on ESPN and get away with an "administrative reprimand," and Dick Vitale would consider it a brilliant move.

Coaches like those are so few. They add so much to the sport it can be awesome.

That pregnant mother/baby pic would be so awesome if it isn't shopped. Seriously, throwing up the horns before you are even born? Destined for awesomeness! Life? Bring it!
