Picspam, happy-Halloween edition

I am oddly Halloween-agnostic. I'm neither for it nor ag'in it with much ferocity. I like that adults claim it for their own dress-up-and-be-goofy traditions (as more than a few images in today's picspams reflect); I don't like the children-demand-you-feed-them aspect anymore, if only because it exerts social pressure for me to keep the lights on, be social and have candy available. I'm not sure which part of that I like least. Still, long as everyone else is having a good time, enjoy, y'all.

It's strange how many meme-critters I empathize with -- Socially Awkward Penguin, Paranoid Parrot, sometimes Business Cat and, of course, Insanity Wolf....

I think in the lost art of trash-talking collegiate signs, USC took it to a whole new level -- besides "cave troll" and "pEnis peniS Penis peNis" there were also "party like there's no postseason" and "the NCAA SCanctioned my other sign." I'm not impressed with their program under Jim Carroll and I think Lane Kiffin should be run over by an operational lawn mower, but those signs were brilliant.

I'm going to cut Phil some slack, despite his INT-happy ways and his two-minute-drill of eating a buttered ham with his hands and dousing himself in Crisco and oozing KY from his pores. I'm chalking a lot of his crappy year up to his shifting supporting cast (funny how much you miss Darren Sproles as a dump-off option when he's not there anymore) and just a lack of offensive cohesion. It's not like he suffered a brain injury and forgot what quarterback is.

Norv Turner, on the other hand, is certainly meme-worthy as Idiot Football Coach. Pity I don't have Photoshop on this computer. Wonder what I can accomplished using Picnik (oh, so today's going to be one of those productive days)....
