One of my former co-workers is having a baby! [livejournal.com profile] wenchamok and [livejournal.com profile] rewil, three guesses who! And the first two don't count. (Though I imagine you know already.... And no, nobody at her current place of employ does yet, so shhh!)

Unrelated: I've been steeling myself against the more graphic imagery presented on DermAtlas, but I wasn't ready for the awesome power of the Malady of the Month. Wow. Some ailments are literally the stuff of nightmares. Tuberculosis, rabies and smallpox are probably the most tolerable of these. If you weren't ready for bot flies, or even if you were slightly squicked-out, stay the hell away from the MotM page. I mean it. I'm not responsible for lost meals as a result of this link.

Again unrelated: quick, what's Dante Hall's favorite Sarah Maclachlan song? (No, don't hit me!)

That would be "Possession."

I was thinking "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy," myself, but that works....

[Middle English extasie, from Old French, from Late Latin extasis, terror, from Greek ekstasis, astonishment, distraction, from existanai, to displace, derange : ek-, out of; see ecto- + histanai, to place; see st- in Indo-European Roots.]

Yep! Isn't it exciting? I'm excited, and I hate kids.

*snerk* Thanks. Now to e-mail her and pester her for important stuff, like due dates. :)

*adds another baby sweater to my "To Knit" list*
