I've determined that I'm going to count the bats we get in the building this semester.

This would be number one.

We've already caught one bat that somehow got in our house and freed it. Kim was home alone so it pretty much freaked her out because she didn't know whether or not she was imagining something swooping around the room (she had just gotten off of work at Wal-Mart).

I would have seriously abandoned the house had I been there by myself. I'll take the rapists over bats any day. :P

we had a bat get into our "kitchen" at work once. the funny thing was, whoever saw it must have seen it flying. cuz i walked in to find a huge box on the floor with a note attached saying "bat in box. please dispose of."

i'm sure housekeeping was thrilled when they came across that *rolls eyes*

*happy sigh*

I love bats.

We had a bat in Cardwell on Friday, a couple of grad students managed to trap it in a stairwell until facilities could come and net it.

Make it two unless you never caught that one. One just swooped at me next to the staircase in the back of the building. I screamed and someone from the Ad Staff caught it in a box and did something with it.

There was also apparently one flying around outside.

Is this the sign of the apocalypse? I think so.
