WHERE was that laundry graphic when I was trying to explain to my idiotic first roommate "the difference between the blue bottle and the orange bottle"?? SHE ACTUALLY WOULD HAVE DONE EVERYTHING ON THIS LIST.

I just missed out on some great unintentional comedy.

Oh man. I didn't even miss anything and I feel your pain. :D

Gallifrey and Hipsterminator are probably my favorites, although the laundry one is close behind. Brian couldn't stop laughing at the turtle and the chocolate castle.

I must not be geeky enough to get the Superman one. :/

The Superman one isn't necessarily funny -- but even after weeks of saturating myself in All-Star Superman, I saw this page and it reminded me that Morrison's might not be the best Superman story ever.

Essentially right before the reboot that erased the Silver-Age continuity from Superman's history, they decided to have one last ragnarok-flavored go at Superman, as drawn by seminal artist Curt Swan and George Perez, and as written by Alan Moore. It's everything that that introduction says and a hell of a lot more. I just rediscovered it and thought it was...awesome.

Ah! Okay. I was vaguely aware of the existence of an Alan Moore Superman story, but had never gone to the trouble to dig it up. Perhaps I shall.

This one is pretty good -- but there's also "For the Man Who Has Everything," which was actually adapted into an episode of Justice League Unlimited and, as far as I can tell, the only adaptation of any of his works that Moore has approved of. "Everything" doesn't have the epic nature of "Whatever Happened," but they both have that Moore magic to them.

Having just looked through this set a second time, I REALLY have to disagree with the muppet / Angry Birds one.

The yellow bird *clearly* should have been Big Bird + Burt. He's already got the eyebrows.

Epic image spam! If only Jack Kirby's MLP was a real series, I'd be all over that!

Cake Crisis just about killed me with laughter, as did Han Solo at Antiques Road Show. XD
