Every once in a while an image comes along and just screws up your mind for the rest of the day. Today that image was this one. Safe for work, technically, though very very hard to explain.

But what got me about the picture wasn't the first thing you notice, nor the second, nor probably even the third. But...that. Yes, that.

I'm wondering if that's a dog that just looks like a horse? A neighbor had a great dane, german shepherd, and something else mix that could have passed for a horse if you looked at it the right way...

Nevermind... The first time I looked at it, the photo came up grainy - and so I thought "well, it looks kinda like a horse - but it could be something else"... but I just looked at it again - and yep - that's a horse...

Though I will say that I am absolutely sure that's been photoshopped in there...

Yeah - the grass around it - especially in the back - is totally cropped from elsewhere and then smudge/blurred to hide the edges...

I spent a year, among other tasks, editing images for educational software... We were doing projects where the professors planning the content wanted to use photos they took while on vacation... I got very adept at erasing random tourists out of pictures...

Er... um.. sorry, but I didn't even notice the horse until people started commenting about it there. I just came across the picture one day and it had been sitting around on my computer for a while before I decided to submit it there.
