I've been hooked since the first episode (glee!). Hugh Laurie is fabulous, and has so many dimensions to his character. You never, ever feel as though he's Acting. I like Omar Epps here as Foreman, and it's kind of ironic that he's in a doctor role again, after being killed off seasons ago on ER (PhD vs. L = ouch!). I haven't quite warmed to the chick and the Aussie yet, but they're fun. And Cuddy is marvelous!
The only thing that I hate is that the gorgeous Robert Sean Leonard looks his age. Ah, he was so pure in Dead Poets Society... now he's got the slightly receding hairline and the crow's feet that all of the rest of us 30-somethings are dreading.
I like how the writers give us tangible character development and bits of background every episode, but leave lots of little teases and questions unanswered. It keeps you wondering and predicting. And it's a *funny* show.
