Thank God Baylor beat LSU. I was getting a little tired of having Seimone Augustus shoved down my throat by ESPN. I don't mind them covering women's basketball -- I just wish they'd learn to cover more than one player per season.

Tonight's a new "24," and given the ads, you should know what's coming. I'm not going to pick my favorite nit this time out, but I will point out that for Marwan's "plan" to have arrived at this point, he would've had to foresee everything that had happened up to this point in the day. From key plot points such as the derailment and theft of the override to his escape from Bauer's clutches in the CTU uniform.... Really, no sane person makes a plan like this. That's my second-largest problem with this year's plot. If they'd come into the season with a concrete, specific threat and a few red herrings, I could deal with it. Or if Marwan had cultivated assets in the field and decided to cash in all his chips in the same day and was consciously improvising, that would work for me, too. But this is Osama bin Laden meets Rube Goldberg, and his ultimate goal has shifted from executing SecDef live on the Internets to 106 simultaneous meltdowns to (tonight and next week's revelations).

I dunno. Maybe Marwan just needs some Ritalin.
