So I did manage to get a quick nap before taking off for work tonight. Ambien's proven itself good for sudden naps. Unisom doesn't really have a "stun" setting. There's "don't take it" and there's "deep hibernation."

The bathroom here has a stall that's marked "out of order." Which makes me wonder. In that phrase, is it "out" as in "out of alignment" or is it "out" as in "out of gas" -- if it's fixed, does it go "back into order" or "full of order?" I'm afraid it's the former. I just wondered what possible synonyms of "out of order" would be. "Full of chaos." "Crossing into disorder." "Broken."

Finished "Battlestar Galactica." Some of my perspectives (the exposition, Edward James Olmos) have softened and become more charitable. Some (the "cinema verité CGI", Tricia Hefler) less so. The ending, the traitor, Adama using Earth as a myth -- none of that pleased me. Still, if they're really going to go through with a series, hell, it's going to be better than the original or, possibly, any of the Trek series were at launch (okay, except TNG -- Patrick Stewart could do "Galactica" as a one-man show). If "Tremors" gets a series, why not this?

Bravo's "West Wing" pre-post-Sorkin-athon, before this season of absolute suck, makes me happy. Classic "WW" is reason enough to carry the channel, since I'm one of the last six people who doesn't watch "Queer Eye."

Maybe they're actually doing something downstairs, and I can possibly get started on work. Ooo, that'd be startling. No, take your time, guys. No rush. No rush at all. It's not like there're deadlines....
