my bad

( Jan. 6th, 2004 10:34 pm)
So I built an e-mail newsletter system for work. It's pretty neat. Handles a full suite of statistic tracking, section subscriptions, full array of templating, bells and whistles. But somehow the "script timeout" function disappeared this weekend, so after sending 700 or so e-mails, the script stopped and decided not to continue.

Oh, yeah, and since we've gone to this new tool and not our corporate solution, we've gone from 500-some subscribers to 1500+ as of today.

Ulp.

I'm not sure it's my fault. But then, I'm not sure it's someone else's fault. So I'll just veeeery quietly take the blame.

The good news was it was easily fixable. I think. No real way to test it without sending 1500 e-mails, and I'm not doing that today.

Moosie has spent his time warbling in Daddy's ear and preening his hair. Tiny simply demands to be within a foot of Moosie at all times, and poofs up his wings to look like a Big Impressive Bird in the process. And they're distressed if they clue in that people are in the house and not with them. Too cute.

Chefs/Colts this weekend. I fear the Manning machine. Football gods, I sacrificed the Cats on your altar of fealty, grant me thy boon and vanquish the mighty stallions from Indiana. Danke.
