After further review, the "final" score du jour is Manhattan PrettyBirds 138, Dairyland Cheeseheads 137. I did not protest or submit anything after the loss, mind you, these are just numbers that are tumbling into the scoring database. So, yeah, by whatever arcane means, the 'Birds are now in seventh (out of eight) place with a 1-2 record. Mind you, five teams are 1-2, but the 'Birds have only 311 total points, as opposed to the Hutch JayDogs at 362, Sedgwick County Komodo Dragons at 344, Honolulu Harem at 325 and the Dayton Raptors at 283. For now. This could all change if you refresh the page, I guess.

I am going to the doc at 9:15 tomorrow morning. I can no longer eat. I couldn't even take meds today until I dipped a Q-Tip in Anbesol and manually applied it to the ulcerations on the back of my throat. I'm not sure that there's a lot she can do for me, but, y'know, I have to try right now, 'cause I'm sooo hooongry. And I can't really talk, though nobody's complaining about that.
