Fillerbunny #3: Slace Labor - Unlike the first two issues (which were done in very short spans), this one was done in bits and pieces over the course of months. As a result, there's more attention paid to the art, not to mention a couple of COLOR pages, woo. The story is no more coherent, of course, because Fillerbunny isn't really about coherence, sanity, taste, etc. This one is a little more bitter than the previous ones, which I think is even *possible* because Jhonen has time to recharge his venom ducts during the breaks in working on this. Anyway, if you've heard of Jhonen Vasquez, you probably already ordered this. And if you haven't, but you like things like Serenity Rose or Arsenic Lullabies, you will want to pick this one up. Recommended, if not for the weak stomached. $2.95
Marti Noxon: kiss of death? Good question. "Point Pleasant" is finished, as determined earlier in the week. Insult to injury: the ep scheduled for tomorrow won't be aired because of "American Idol's" idiotic phone-number flub and the need to have another AI episode on after (sigh) "The O.C." But this also means Fox can dump the six filmed-but-never-aired episodes of the second season of the now-cancelled "Tru Calling." For which I'm...utterly unaffected.

If they gave "Arrested Development" half the effort they give crap like "Life on a Stick" or that abysmal televisual abortion of a Paris Hilton vehicle, I'd be less angered. And "House" is doing well (fourth! FOURTH in the Neilsens last week!), but there's still the matter of the travesty that is the new "Simpsons" season. And there's "Firefly." Mutter mutter mumble.

Edit: "Third Watch" also cancelled. Hell, I'd forgotten it was on.
