AICN interview with Adam Baldwin and Nathan Fillion on the eve of the release of the "Serenity" trailer.

Adam: Well, the movie will explain more in detail who these people are. Certainly not all of them and not in every way people will want or expect. There are going to be twists and turns that Joss always throws in. When I read the script, I said, “This is the best script I’ve ever read.” Not the best script I’ve ever worked on, but the best I’ve ever read . . . of course, I’ve only read eight . . .

Nathan: Not a strong reader. His lips move.

Summer Glau is older than Jewel Staite? Hrm.
In a move that could rankle privacy advocates, Microsoft said Monday that it is adding the PC equivalent of a flight data recorder to the next version of Windows, in an effort to better understand and prevent computer crashes.

The tool will build on the existing Watson error-reporting tool in Windows but will provide Microsoft with much deeper information, including what programs were running at the time of the error and even the contents of documents that were being created. Businesses will also choose whether they want their own technology managers to receive such data when an employee's machine crashes.
Feministe: God’s Rottweiler » What Makes A Woman A Woman?

According to the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act of 2005 (Senate Bill 51 and House Bill 356, if you’re curious), it’s the ova and the uterus and nothing else. The Act, which has been criticized for its possible effects on abortion law, has been referred to committee in both the House and the Senate. It contains this excellent definition:

WOMAN- The term `woman’ means a female human being who is capable of becoming pregnant, whether or not she has reached the age of majority.

More fallout here. Sweet holy God.
As previously discussed here:

Shortly after 1 o'clock Tuesday, the phone rang at the home of Garrett Webster, the son of former Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame center Mike Webster.

He was sleeping, but answered anyway.

And on the other end was attorney Bob Fitzsimmons, with the news the Webster family had been waiting for since 1997.

Citing "overwhelming evidence," a U.S. district court judge in Baltimore awarded Webster's estate full disability benefits on Tuesday for brain damage he suffered during his 17-year NFL career.
