COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Couches and mattresses were set on fire outside houses in Ohio State University student neighborhoods, and three people were struck by a car following the No. 1-ranked Buckeyes' 24-7 win over No. 2 Texas on Saturday night.

Sigh. Here's hoping everybody in Columbus is okay. Makes me quite glad the days of the Aggieville riots (OMG, they have a Wikipedia entry?!?) are over. Of course, so are the days of K-State's relevance in roundball. Pigskin? Eh, we'll see; thrashing a team on the ESPN Bottom 10 by a score of 45-0 doesn't quite have the ring of a quality win.
I just watched the Kansas City quarterback get annihilated and strapped to a board before being carted off the field. No thumbs-ups, no real signs of movement. Kinda scary. Scarier than the game, even, and it's not a pretty game. Anyhow. 36 pics below.... )
