Yesterday's...er, Thursday's staff meeting didn't go very well at all. It kinda devolved into a "here's a laundry list of everything you're all doing wrong, but we won't name names" and worse, apparently the only people who took it at all personally were the ones who weren't meant. So add that to my paranoia and I got very angry. Was in no mood to join the staff for quarterly trivia night at the library, and it's a good thing, as they were at the max of eight team members anyway, adding former co-worker ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rewil to the mix. And, of course, as any trivia team with her must do, they won.
But just for the record, I knew all three Catwoman actresses from the TV show, too. Five, if you count the movies.
Boss stopped by on his way home and we had a good "come down from the ledge" chat. I feel very sorry for him. He has the unenviable job of making so much of the paper work despite everyone above him's best efforts and policies which are, occasionally, difficult to justify (yes, coming soon: mandatory registration -- be still my beating heart). And he has to put up with me. Oy.
And maybe I should stop eating at Burger King so often, as it feels like I've got a cork in an atrium that just won't dislodge. Ow.
Season 8 of "South Park" is, simply, genius.
And the Royals keep trying to play games with my head. C'mon, guys, either win or lose. Stop with the razor-thin margins.
