I was stoked when I heard Dan Fouts was going to be on Monday Night Football. Such a shame he became a casualty of the Great Miller Experiment: he and Al Michaels would have been a fine duo even when the network decided to cut ties with Dennis.

It disturbs me that the Chargers could run the tables, go 12-4, and still miss the playoffs. I suppose it would be some kind of city sports karma for the Padres winning their division at 82-80 earlier this year.
