I'm fine! But ...

Am still at work.

Was in the newsroom alone when the storm went through. That was cool. Stayed for a few hours untill other web people woke up to help care of things. Drove home, dodging around trees and admiring light poles dangling from power lines. Went to sleep. Woke up, still no power.

The servers have been slammed because of the storm and the basketball junk, so updating anything is sloooooooooooooooooooow.

And just for kicks, the Drudge Report linked to us and we were mentioned on the Fark thread. WTF? I need the bandwidth, here, people! Lay off! ... I'm kind of whiny at the moment, sorry.

And I have to work today during the day. Copy editing and junk. This could be ... fun.

Just glad you and yours are all still intact. Scary statistics coming out of L-town -- 60% of buildings on campus damaged? Oy!

And yeah, this would happen on Selection Sunday. Still. Bradley. Shouldn't even work up a sweat.

Oh, I did get all happy when I saw Wichita State made it, though.

Really, though, a lot of the damage is trees and windows and stuff. OK, and the church steeples. But it's not like normal widespread tornado damage you see.
