NBC has blinked.

The Peacock Network announced Thursday that it will be moving its most eagerly awaited new show for the fall, "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," from Thursday nights to Monday nights in order to avoid tough competition.

Crisis averted. Impending Firefly averted. For now.

Heck, no. CBS has owned Thursday for a good long while now. Absolutely since Seinfeld and Friends went off the air. Heck, even the Apprentice moved to Mondays.

I just wish the article had said what time the thing was airing on Mondays. It better not be up against Prison Break...
