First, Starlings vs. tree. Starlings almost win.

Secondly, how to finish Super Mario Bros. World 1-1 in 25 seconds. Maybe using M.Bison is a touch unfair.

Okay, one more: color aerial combat footage from WWII. It somehow seems much more...real in color. Does that make me hideously superficial? And I don't know what happens at 3:10 in the video, but...whoa.

My computer speakers have given up the ghost. I don't know why. Puzzled.

It looks like they hit a ammo dump from the look of the explosion.

Given that whatever it was, it got set off that big just with bullets & tracers, I'll second the "ammo dump" theory. None of the airplanes & trucks they show going up elsewhere made fireballs quite that big.

I wonder if the huge plume of dark smoke later on in the footage is from the same site, later in the run? Doesn't have to be, of course, but most of this footage looks like it's spliced together from the same few reels, so it could be.

Dayum! Either an ammo dump or an oversized propane tank.

I was once watching the Gaming Channel, and with a clever use of warp zones, they completely beat Super Mario Brothers in less than five minutes.

I watched...it was like a bug drawn to a bug zapper. You were just waiting for Mario to die and then he...didn't.

Lika dis? (I've been listening to "Closer to Mario" in the car too much. "It'sa mee, Maaario!")

These guys (http://www.collegehumor.com/movies/1685760/) took a little longer than 25 seconds, but they beat World 1-1 just the same.
