Enron founder Kenneth Lay died early Wednesday in Aspen, Colo., a family spokeswoman said.

Lay, 64, was awaiting sentencing after being found guilty of conspiracy and fraud.

...The spokeswoman did not release any further details, but CNN affiliate KPRC in Houston said Lay, 64, was admitted to the Aspen Valley Hospital overnight with a massive coronary.

RonJohn told me this and my reaction was "No, really, what's the punchline?"

Still got off easy.

This is reminding me of a Twilight Zone episode I saw this weekend. A man sold his soul to the devil for immortality but was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison and so he had the devil take his life via a heart attack... Hmmm.... interesting....
