Funny you should mention that. That was one thing I noticed about the media day Wednesday was Martin really knew all of the main beat writers in the area - Jeffrey Martin with the Eagle, Mark Janssen with the Mercury, etc. - and addressed them by name when they asked him questions.
I think the best thing that could have happened with me going to football press conferences was that I really learned how to work a press room and shove my way in there and get the questions that I had out.
