WESTMORELAND — A Manhattan area teacher has been arrested and jailed on suspicion of unlawful sexual relations after a Pottawatomie County deputy discovered her and a 17-year-old male together in a parked car.
In a news release this morning, Sheriff Greg Riat identified the woman in the car as 31-year-old Katherine J. Harder. The teenager is a student at the school where Harder teaches.
Riat said the two were discovered at about 10 p.m. Wednesday by a Pottawatomie County deputy sheriff investigating a vehicle parked in the Spillway Marina Park area of Tuttle Creek Dam.
You know, there was a time when Westmoreland was seriously the weirdness magnet of the world. It's actually calmed down a great deal since. If I had to guess which town gave birth to the adhered-to-toilet-woman or cut-out-fetus-from-pregnant-woman-woman, Westmoreland would instantly be my first pick.
