In under three hours, the first episode of the final season of Battlestar Galactica will premiere online here. They no longer insist that the Cylons "have a plan," instead doing a quick fly-by of who's-a-Cylon-now. In case you missed the season finale. Or just refused to accept it, as some of them may have....
If you've heard people (like me) babbling incoherently about it and thought they were just insane, Sci-Fi's put "Battlestar Galactica: The Phenomenon" online, too -- a must-see for anyone new to the show, wanting to hop into the maelstrom before it ends, or who just wants to see Joss Whedon and Seth Green geek out (Joss does a good Dwight, too). The pictures of Scott Ian on the set are adorable, too. (And to get caught up on the series in just under nine minutes, watch this.)
Edit: Flashback to September. Gah. And yes, all of those spoilers are still valid.

The one thing I'll say about it is it's intense. No small stakes, no small acting. And it's dark -- both in terms of cinematography and mood. But brilliant. The miniseries was okay, but the regular series started smart and just keeps getting better. (And the Roslin commercials are actually freakin' me out.)

Then a friend convinced me to watch the miniseries, and I've being a faithful fan ever since.
