I find the tale of Eric and the Dread Gazebo to be a much more accurate representation of the role-playing experience. Just clueless in an entirely different way.

I tease. I forget some people might take this seriously. It's just so...out there, so outlandish, it's ridiculous. But this attitude is borne of familiarity, and those not familiar might find room for fear. That's the disappointing part.
