I somehow get the impression that this is closer to the truth than many would like to think.
You know, I could go into insane, anal-retentive, possibly-blasphemous detail on what I call the "Jesus Phenomena." But you know what? Whatever you think, a guy who ate with everyone, whose major annoyances were rich fops, moneychangers, and religious hypocrites, is probably NOT going to get worked up over two gay guys.
ESPECIALLY if he was living within the Roman Empire.
