At least one Fox Broadcasting Co. affiliate has balked at airing Monday night's 90-minute special "Who's Your Daddy," which has raised the ire of adoption advocacy groups for a premise that revolves around an adopted woman trying to pick her biological father from a group of eight candidates.

WRAZ-TV (Fox 50) in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, has yanked "Daddy" and instead will air a documentary, "I Have Roots and Branches: Personal Reflections on Adoption," in the 8-9:30 p.m. EST block slated for "Daddy."

Awesome. Because if you watch House, you might've seen the scene of the kid getting a sample of his retina taken by this great big horkin' needle slowly approaching his paralyzed-open eye...and the level of disgust and discomfort most people feel about that scene is tripled by how I feel about "Who's Your Daddy." Gak.

Speaking of transcendental discomfort, yours truly goes in for more face-surgery on Monday. And Muffin goes into the doctor on Tuesday. Uh, yay? Muffin's been a little squirrelly lately, threw up some seed Saturday and gave us a scare, but since he's been a little cuddling machine, cozying up to Daddy and getting poofy. Or occasionally going after Daddy's Pez. No Pez for pig!

And I recorded the second airing of the pilot, so I'll be all up to date. Booyah.

Rawk.

And here's hoping you liked the pilot. It had its glorious moments. I'm really beginning to like Lisa Edelstein.
