For the past 20 years a Commodore 64 was instrumental in displaying the departures and arrivals at the Dortmund train station. Now the C64 has died, the display has gone black, and the station has a big problem: a new display system would cost over 3 million Euros.

Twenty frickin' years? Whoa. I'm all awash with nostalgia....

Edit: PressPlayOnTape is a Commodore 64 revival band. And there's a lot more at RKO. Awe. Some.

Awesome! I tried to get my C-64 working a few years ago, but the disk drive wouldn't work. Still use Vice every once in a while.

Visited the link and it turns out it wasn't a C-64 but an Intel System 310 running Xenix on a 286. Still ancient equipment though.
