Had the mandatory safety meeting today. Three hand-out do-them-together tests, which were kept for posterity. I guess they want to know how many newspaper employees can answer the question "HIV/Aids is a curable ailment, true or false?" Good Lord. An hour of my life I'll never get back.

Been spoiling myself rotten re: Angel. Non-spoilery observations: Wesley is completely and utterly redeemed, wenchamok is going to be one happy little camper, and many aspects of it seem very, very, very (i.e. LAST SEASON) familiar. Still, I'm going to give it just the slightest chance.

Final verdict on Semagic is that it is, indeed, the shizzle. I wouldn't be updating nearly as frequently if it weren't for this handy little icon in my taskbar. So curse it or thank it or just use it.

I think I'm losing my mind. Really. I cleaned out my desk this week in anticipation of being fired. Turns out just like a "Three's Company" episode with hysterically misread signals and perfectly benign excuses for everything and sure enough it turns out I'm getting a new computer. Either that or they're all still lying to me. Waiting for me to drop my guard. I know it.

Sigh. I think I need to be on more meds.

Moosie's foot is looking better, and he's hopping around like a little, uhm, hopping machine. Cute little bird-monster.

Well, at least tomorrow at work has to be better than today....

Woot! That means more Lindsay!!!

Yay on the new computer, but eek on the method of getting it. You thought you were getting fired? Argh.... Wait, I'm not sure that department can operate with fewer people....

Hopefully it means Lindsay had a real plan. But I'm not spoiling myself, so I don't want to know. I just want them to acknowledge Cordy's death and show the gang mourning one of the original Scoobies.

Obviously nothing yet on that score -- and I don't think it's going to happen, I'm afraid. It's normally the sort of thing that the Buffyverse is good at keeping continuous (like Buffy recalling Willow's "kick his ass" from season 2 when about to kill Anya, except, of course, that it wasn't Willow's quote...), but I haven't heard anything about continued Cordy. I don't know how much of that is just bad writing (when you kill a once-regular, while Boreanaz's scene was uncharacteristically profound, you need more than just that) and how much of it is a Charisma/Joss friction finding place in the show....
