AH HA HA HA HA

...oh, my side hurts, either from the laughing or the coughing, I can't tell which anymore, as I'm suddenly doing a lot of both.

The Kansas Legislature dismissed last week without passing a funding bill for schools, despite a court ruling that schools were unconstitutionally underfunded and the Legislature had until July 1 to fix the funding. They didn't (spending much of their time trying to pass a constitutional amendment against gay marriage). So today that judge ordered all public schools in Kansas closed.

I think this is possibly the greatest thing to happen ever.

I'm still sick, but at least I did something constructive today (besides picking up the Zim DVD and watching "Bad Bad Rubber Piggy" with the pig commentary turned on!). I do hope this scares kauricat when she gets back. ( See doom here! )
