...found on CNN.

The puppetized actors in the movie won't be happy with their portrayal, either. Alec Baldwin, head of the Film Actors Guild (which is frequently abbreviated -- you can figure it out for yourself), is as madly power-hungry as the terrorists themselves. Janeane Garofalo urges her fellow celebs to read the newspaper and then regurgitate the information as their own opinions. Matt Damon is only capable of shaking his fist and grunting his name.

It all may sound adolescent and goofy, and a lot of the time it is. But "Team America" also may be the best film of the year. It's easily the funniest.

"Team America: World Police," a Paramount Pictures release, is rated R for graphic, crude and sexual humor, violent images and strong language, all involving puppets.

ETA: CNN also has a review of Evil Genius. Much fun.

Excerpts from the highlights, which is like a super-distilled Jon Stewart....

On CNN’s Robert Novak: “I wouldn’t have him on my show. I have standards." A-men. Someone tell me why Judith Miller and Matthew Cooper are facing contempt charges and Novak's scot-free? Or even allowed to continue as a commentator?

On why he’s voting for John Kerry: “If one guy drove me into a ditch and said, ‘Don’t worry, I know how to drive us out of this,’ I’ll give the keys to a seven-year-old at that point.” This is what I'm saying.

On the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: “What was God thinking putting all of his holy sites in one area, like two blocks from each other?” Snerk.

Gotta go. Muffin's cuddled up and talkin' to Daddy's ear.

ETA: And this was before Stewart verbally decapitated Tucker Carlson and Paul Begala. Now that was awesome.
