Sometimes the only winning move is not to play

It's been fifty years since the University of Buffalo got its only bowl invite, to Orlando, to the Tangerine Bowl. That is, if they left their two black players behind. The players met with the intention to vote on a secret ballot, but they didn't need to: they unanimously opted not to go. Excellent story, excellent write-up.

And, fifty years later, with a record of 6-4 and at least two games left, they're bowl eligible again.
