Spoilers hit for the finale of "Angel." If this is true, it does manage to outdo the finale of "Buffy" as far as annoyance and frustration. Not simply because there's nothing quite like ending the series with a cliffhanger, but because I have trouble with killing off characters without proper closure (Anya). And let's look at the deaths on "Buffy" -- Anya and Spike (kinda) had been around for a good while, and Amanda was at least cool. The "Angel" body count manages to top that, even, in terms of recurring character casualties. To say nothing of the traitor within the recurring characters.
I was hoping that "Chosen" would've taught some lessons to the writing staff, but apparently nobody was paying attention. I'm going to miss "Angel" much less, I think.
