Coffee, my old friend

Wow. It's really something to be wide, fully awake for a whole day....

It took just a shade over 48 hours for my order to arrive from HomestarRunner.com, and in the middle of the Christmas season, too. Dude. Got a few goodies for coworkers, chums, and got myself a Homsar shirt. Kick ass. Because I was raised by a cup of coffee.

Well, honestly, when I was in fourth grade, I used to get up in the morning, have coffee, and piddle off to school. Don't tell me that doesn't make sense in retrospect.

To get the best coffee, though, you'll want to head to Cyberbites. Their Cyberbites blend is absolutely perfect. Even if your coffee is good now -- and I'm sure it is -- you'll never go back. It has made me into something of a coffee snob. But mmmh. So good.

Hrm. If I sleep now, I can drink more coffee sooner.

And has anybody seen the Chiefs defense lately? If so, please return to Arrowhead Stadium.

What did you get from Homestar Runner and company?

I bought most of my gifts online this year. I was about to buy them on the 15th and 16th, and have them delivered on time. And the shipping was free or dirt cheap in every case!

I don't see how the store retailers are going to stay in business...

Got a Limozeen T for my immediate supervisor, got the "Strong Bad Sings" CD for the other member of the content team (let me just say that it's worth the price of admission just for "Sensitive to Bees"), my Homsar shirt, and a Trogdor T for my best friend who doesn't know I'm on LJ yet. Heh. Oh, and a Teen Girl Squad T for Bee. Hey, *I* even wanted a TGS shirt.

Should've bought the figurines. They're so cool. Maybe when they get Homsar.

Ordered a wolf calendar for a friend online, only to find another at Staples today for...uhm, significantly less. Grr.

But online shopping is all it's cracked up to be. Definitely easier, more convenient, and wow, even timely....
