The problem with two hours of "Arrested Development" is that it equals about 4 hours of regular TV. It's dense -- not in the "stupid" or "insipid" way -- and yeah, "Galactica" is on right afterwards, but I just can't make it through it tonight. I got grumpy when Moosie started gnawing through one of my Christmas-present-books that I got last weekend, and that put me in a bad frame of mind for the last 45 minutes, but still...the AD Fox finale had everything I was wanting and more than a few surprises (Ann? Annyong? Ron? Rita? Pete Rose?), but I think Justine Bateman was my favorite part....

In other news, I fall asleep on my keyboard now....

Yup, Tiny Moo, Moosie and Muffin. Tiny's the alpha male, Moosie's something of a gnawer (remote controls, glasses, books, watches), and Muffin's Daddy's little monster (spent four months alone with me in quarantine while he was sick). And apparently my emulating the Homer Simpson "Whoo-hoo!" has rubbed off on them, too, because they've been doing their whistles in the exact same intonation....

We sent up a big ol' cheer here for Justine Bateman (which, I'm sure, our neighbors adored). Also, I expect there to be an inordinate amount of mentions of the Holy Trinity for a house full of ex-Catholics.

So completely ganked from the URL in the details. Can't even begin to take credit for it, but yeah, it's worth ganking, isn't it? And it's seasonal!

My heart goes out to a hockey fan trying to survive in the Sunshine State. You and [livejournal.com profile] wenchamok should form a support group.

I think my favorite part was the Veronica Mars shout-out. The rest all felt a little too series finale-ish to me. I watched over several hours because I didn't want it to end. I think, though, if it does get picked up by Showtime that I want them to keep the bleeps. I think I find that more endearing than if they were actually broadcasting the swears (though I'd be happy if they didn't have to hide their mouths while swearing anymore).
