sigma7: Sims (pig)

Today has been...uhm, eventful. That's all I can say right now. In a pigs-fly, hell-freezes-over, Chargers-win-the-Super-Bowl kind of way. As soon as I fully comprehend it, I'll be able to write about it more. All I can say is it's not bad....

In other news, George Tenet resigned today. Wow. So they're taking applications, right? I've lined up one recommendation from work. All I need to do is take my last cover letter, do some judicious search-n-replace and I think I'm set. Hope they'll let me wear my Chargers jersey to the confirmation hearings.... Or maybe the Whalers sweater....

Still! Coughing! E-bloody-nough already.

And we're going to take a few minutes to watch my latest DVD, a video postcard from Vice City, with subtitles and alternate audio track. It's what I do when I can't sleep.

Yay?

So, you ARE having a four bunny day? Can't wait to hear all about it...!

Re: Yay?

I'm confusled and trying to remember what we've talked about today... m'brain's a little fuzzy after the stack of work I've plowed through.

Can't wait for a refresher! :-)

Fun at work?

Hah. I wish. No, this has been brewing for a long, long time. It's a long story, but it's forthcoming, I promise.

You are such a tease. I'm dying here. Please share something good with the group. We can all use it. :)

Let's see...

Maybe Jim had a fatal accident and Sig got immediately promoted.

Maybe the home office finally realized what a gem they have in him and apologized profusely for the stupid things they've been pulling.

Maybe Sig got fed up and quit.

Maybe the office fell apart in his absence yesterday and everyone is bowing down in awe of him (and his amazing talent).

Maybe Trent Reznor showed up out of the blue...?

I'm praying it's not the third one down, but any of the others get three cheers from me!

*intrigued*

Well, I guess I'll just have to impatiently wait..... :)

By the way, pigs do fly (and not just your fids). Our cafeteria regularly serves meat that they identify as "Pork Wings."

Which reminds me of middle school...

A friend and I tweaked the saying to be "When pigs fly out of your a$$ backwards saying 'knio, knio'" We were strange, what can I say?

Re: Which reminds me of middle school...

Ha ha ha! Speaking of pigs and their utterances, I learned that in France, instead of "oink, oink," the phrase is "groin, groin." My dad got a kick out of that. :)
