I was terrified of Dragon's Lair when it came out, and was never any good at it. It was essentially an interactive cartoon -- I was having trouble understanding that it didn't require continuous input and only needed a push or a button at a certain time...and the death scenes were a little...traumatic, at the time, moreso than even Half-Life 2 or near-photo-realistic games nowadays. The cartoony nature of the graphics made it more iconic, more visceral, somehow. I dunno. But I do know that I was never ever any good at it.
So imagine my delight on finding videos of Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II and Space Ace all being completed. And alternate takes of Dragon's Lair, including a few goofy death scenes. I still remember the opening narration. And the Saturday morning TV series. But it was on so early....
