Word of warning: do not go to the Kansas State Collegian website without disabling images in your browser.

What should be a thumbnail of the paper's front page in the bottom-left-hand corner is, in fact, just a scaled down version of the entire front page, a 7709x13936 image. ALL SIX MEGS OF IT. Which is on every page of the site.

The mind boggles.

I figured they wouldn't change the finished version, but also figured after the first week they'd change the process. I guess nobody complained. I find it hard not to notice, though, since even on my speedy computers and lightning-fast connection, the whole computer comes to a halt. *shrug*

I can see why they're going with College Publisher now.
