It stole mine too, even when I came back. I was in the middle of Rewil's dungeon and even had a map. And then suddenly I was being soundly beaten by a large troll and my armour and pokey stick were gone.

At one point I lost my inventory, but not the fact that I only had one HP left. Grrr.
