A judge has ordered the state Board of Medicine to stop disciplinary proceedings against a doctor accused of telling a patient she was so obese she might only be attractive to black men and advising another to shoot herself following brain surgery.

This would be the human incarnation of "bedside manner as a disadvantage." Apparently I'm in the wrong line of work.

Bennett said he planned to sue everyone involved for "malicious prosecution."

"I am not inclined to be forgiving about it," he said. "It's been devastating and infuriating."

Mmmmyeah. 'cause what he said was neither devastating nor infuriating to his patient.

I can *totally* see House saying both of those things, though.

The shooting oneself bit, perhaps. But not the obese/black bit, unless Foreman was in earshot, and then only to antagonize him. He wouldn't let a line like that go unused at its most obnoxious.
